Whether you need to get the creative juices flowing for an all-night writing session or access your own “Sweet Lady Jane” rapping alter ego, mix up a Miami Vice cocktail and get psyched for this Jane the Virgin drinking game!
Miami Vice Cocktail Recipe
This recipe is basically a delicious combo of a piña colada and a strawberry daiquiri.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces rum (divided)
- 1 cup strawberries (chopped)
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 2 ounces cream of coconut
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- Ice
- Pineapple slice (optional for garnish)
In a blender, combine 1 ounce of rum, strawberries, lime juice, simple syrup, and about a cup of crushed ice. Blend until velvety smooth. Pour into a tall glass, cover, and place in the freezer.
Rinse the blender, then add the remaining 1 ounce of rum, cream of coconut, pineapple juice, and another cup of crushed ice. Blend until smooth.
Remove the glass from the freezer and pour the second mixture on top. Garnish with a slice of pineapple, fire up your streaming service of choice, and grab a microphone…
