December is a great time for curling up on the couch with a comfy blanket and some wine and watching your favorite Christmas movies! Here is a list of some great Christmas movie drinking games we hope will make your holidays a bit merrier.
1. Elf
Elf has got to be #1 on the list! It’s a classic Christmas movie that never gets old. Plus, it’s almost as quotable as Mean Girls. We know you’re going to be watching Elf this holiday season, so try spicing it up with this drinking game.
2. Christmas Chronicles
There are countless Santa movies out there, but the Christmas Chronicles are actually pretty good. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn make a great Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
3. How The Grinch Stole Christmas
Jim Carrey is absolutely hilarious as the Grinch in this movie. And if you haven’t watched this since you were a kid, you’ll definitely pick up on a lot more “adult” topics than you did back then. Overall, definitely worth a watch (and a drink) this Christmas.
4. Nightmare Before Christmas
Okay so you probably just watched this in October, but it doesn’t have to be just a Halloween movie! Yes it’s spooky, but the Christmas story in it is pretty great.
5. Holidate
This new 2020 rom-com covers all the major holidays, including Christmas. It has some hilarious moments and is definitely worth a watch this holiday season!
